A Place To Hide

A few years ago I held a workshop on Past Life Regression, indeed I often held numerous workshops around this subject. During one workshop I spoke about instances when some children appear to recall memories of another life from when they begin to speak after 2 or 3 years old. Such comments may be about ‘the white house where I used to live’ or ‘when I was a man’ or ‘when I had a different mommy’ would sometimes come out quite spontaneously. In one particular session a young woman responded with ‘Oh! My son does that!’ So I invited her to tell me about it.
She explained that over the last few weeks her 4 year old son had begun crying and screaming loudly whilst in bed during the night, yet when she went to him she would find him in his bed with his body arched backwards as though in great pain, crying, calling ‘Mummy! As she reassured him that ‘It’s ok. Mummy is here’, he responded by saying ‘No! I want my real mummy!’ (very upsetting for mummy too). This behaviour had been on going most nights for several weeks. Indeed she continued to explain that there had been ‘several weird things’ happening at home lately and then mentioned that even her cousin had been killed during this period. When asked to elaborate on this, I realised that her cousin had actually been savagely murdered right at the time that her son first had these experiences. He owned a grocery store which had been robbed and he was locked in the freezer while injured yet still alive, until he eventually died there. All this was in a country thousands of miles away, on the other side of the world (her son did not even know him).
Her story concerned me and gave me the impression that this may not be a past life at all, so I began to wonder whether I may be able to help. A part of regression therapy is discerning whether we are working on a past life at all, indeed there are many cases where foreign energy of one kind or another can attach to the energy field of a person and thus influence the thoughts, feelings and experiences of that person. Releasing the foreign energy is invariably a requirement for a healthy outcome. This was sounding as though the traumatised and terrified soul of the murdered cousin had sought a place of safety with his known family, as that was where he could feel most safe. He wanted to be close to his cousin back in England and in his panic attaching to her young son was the best way for him to do that. Of course this is unacceptable
We decided to hold a ‘surrogate’ exercise, where a person can act as an intermediary to connect with the intended beneficiary with the intention to clear any foreign energy away. There are several circumstances where this can be done very effectively, especially when the recipient is a child to the parent. In this case the mother was invited to connect energetically with her son and describe what she became aware of. As she focussed on her son she could visualise him within his aura where his body was in that distorted, arched position and a ‘darkish blob’ next to him pertaining to where his body was distorted. We invited beings of light to assist us as this foreign energy was guided gently away from her son. It became clear that this was indeed the soul of the cousin that had been killed. This soul was surrounded by several light beings that was guiding him to a lighter place where he could be safe, in the light and able to move forward on his own soul journey.
These circumstances were very unusual as I do not find traumatised souls attaching to extended family members after death to be a common occurrence. However it is not so unusual for a soul to remain earthbound after death simply in a confused state or still holding heavier energies such as sadness, fear, anger, hatred or many more unhealthy emotions. In such circumstances they can attach to a person or place until ready to move on or be guided to move on.
Quite randomly I bumped into this lady about three months later when she was able to report that her son was now happy, well and free from those night terrors. It is important to point out that there was nothing malevolent about the being that was attaching to her son even though his presence was having such a disturbing impact on him. This was a traumatised soul, dying in extreme circumstances, that simply did not know where to go to be safe. Once connected with beings of light it was able to be in a place where that soul could heal and recover from the experience.
